"Storgata Before The Ashes"

Everyone has a relationship with construction and buildings. Whether they are pretty to look at or not that pretty to look at. In our city, many buildings have been erected after the Second World War. You quickly forget all the nice things that disappeared in the ashes. We have now done what we can to recreate the old street in Bodø, with the iconic Tandberggården and Bodø Glassmagasin as part of the motif.

With the help of old and unclear photographs that we estimate origin from the period between 1920 and 1930, the pen has had to challenge itself on a level of detail, scenery and characters from a bygone era. An artwork Gundersons have worked on over several months, and are proud to release to this day April 10. 2024.
